Wouldn't the king eat the rook making me loose 2 points more? I seriously don't get it.

Hi,
The king does eat the rook and then black plays 2...Bd2+ winning the other rook, so you are up a bishop overall.
Unfortunately this problem stopped too early for you to be able to see it play out, the computer line shown at the side of the page did show this line however.
