In problem #15095 1.Rc2 is mate in three. The proposed solution 1.g4+ is mate in four. I lost 24 points for the shorter solution!!!  Angry

Hi Johnny,

I think you might have missed something on the 1. Rc2 line. The engine analysis suggests that the best response for black after 1.Rc2 is 1 .. Re8    This is indeed still mate, but it is mate in 9 moves not 3.  Mate in 4 still looks like the shortest mate with 1. g4+

Let me know if I'm still missing something here.
