How to set standard puzzles as default

The first time I click on "solve tactics" each time I visit this site, a blitz type of puzzle apears even though I only want to solve standard puzzles.  I read somewhere that it is supposed to remember your settings, but mine is not working.  As long as I don't close my browser window, it remembers that I play standard puzzles.  But, if I close the browser window and come back to this site and then click "solve tactics", I am once again presented with a blitz puzzle...how do you get this to not happen and why is this question not in the FAQ???

Hi Bullrock,

Sounds like you are hitting a bug. Unfortunately it always works for me, but this is not the first report I've had of a user having problems.  There is a known problem where switching between the tactics view and the problem viewer can cause the rating type preference to be lost, however it sounds like this might not be the problem you are seeing.  Does it always lose the standard setting or only sometimes?  I'm current slowly working through some UI improvements and bugfixes so I'll have a closer look at this particular problem as soon as time permits.

It loses the standard setting every time.  I still love this site, so don't get me wrong about my minor complaint!

Thanks bullrock, it's a minor complaint but it must be annoying for you to have to set the rating type each time.  I'll see if I can hunt this down (but unfortunately might still be a week or two before I get to it), apologies for any inconvenience before then.
