When my pieces promote as in problem http://chesstempo.com/chess-problems/13454 they get a white square around the pieces.

My highlights are turned off and these pieces remain highlighted with an opaque white around them.

Thanks.

Read my post dude, my highlights ARE off. They annoy me.

you could also perhaps miss this becuase maybe the highlights (white opaque around queening pieces) are only visible when solving the puzzles and not in the pgn viewer.

I dunno atleast this happened to me.

Thanks tacto,

Hmm. I'm having problems repeating this here (I thought maybe I was doing something with highlighting even though you had it turned off but that doesn't seem the case).  Does this happen every time for you on the computer analysis with 13454 or only sometimes? What operating system and browser version are you using (sorry if I've asked this before).

Thanks for the report.

Richard.

tacto: I've fixed this now, thanks again for the report (you were running IE6 I suspect, which has a bug with transparent PNG's..I work around this in all other places but forgot to apply the fix to promoted pieces).

Regards,
Richard.

Oh... I forgot to reply to this probably not needed anyway but lets be sure.

Yes, I use IE6 and the problem seems to be fixed now.

Thanks!
