Help I can't play standard

So I click the Standard Button... and hit next problem... and it reverts to blitz and gives me a blitz problem.  Help!

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this problem. It seems to be working fine for me.  Which browser and operating system are you using?

I have the same problem. I'm using firefox on windows XP.

If I press standard and then next problem right away, it loads another blitz problem. It seems that I have to wait for almost 10 seconds before I hit next problem for it to load a standard problem.

I can reproduce this reliably now.  It seems it only works properly if you select the problem type before the tactic is completed (either correct or incorrect).  If you select a different type after you've gotten the problem wrong then it seems to behave as you and drunknknite describe. I'm surprised this hasn't been complained about before :-)  I'll look at fixing this in the next couple of days.
