Also, this has only started a day or two ago. Sometimes 3 correct problems in a row are penalised !

Hi exir,

It appears that this is a result of anti-cheating code that has incorrectly decided there is something strange about the answers you are submitting.  This problem impacts very few users and I have been unable to track down the exact cause. For now I've stopped deducting points in this situation (you will not receive any points but at least you will stop losing them!).  I have suspected in the past that this situation may have something to do with the setup on the user's machine (or some content filtering/caching at their ISP), as whilst very few users see this problem , the ones who do seem to see it fairly often (You appear to have had the issue 11 times in the last week).  Is it possible you have installed any new software on your machine in the last few days? Or maybe started playing on a different machine? The problem seems to have started on the 12th of Dec for you.

Hopefully I can track this down soon, in the mean time the change to prevent you losing points should at least make the problem less annoying for you.

Regards,
Richard.

Thanks for such a prompt and detailed response!

I have a new Antivirus software installed. Does that affect anything? Also, will I be able to circumvent the problem by using a proxy?

Thanks a lot Smiley

If it is due to your anti-virus software then a proxy will not help.  Do you mind letting me know what antivirus software you have installed so I can cross-reference with others and check if this is a common factor in those having the problem?

Thanks,
Richard.
