my statistics stopped 2008-06-07. I mean 'Recent Problem Attempts' and graphs. What is the reason?

It seems to be working ok when I look at your stats, the most recent problem attempts are on the 17th of June. Are you only seeing problem attempts up to the 7th of June? Would it be possible to send a screen shot so I can see what you are seeing?

Thanks,
Richard.

I tried to log from three different computers and every time I see this screen.
I think graphs are not correct also.

Hi Palemon,

I've looked further at this and it does seem to be working fine at the server end.  My theory at the moment is that you are using an ISP with a broken proxy which is inappropriately caching the requests for the recent problem (and possibly graph) details.   Were all the three machines you tried on sharing the same internet connection? Are you able to try accessing your account from a different ISP to see if my cache theory is correct?

If it is a proxy caching issue, you could try explicitly requesting a reload of the page which might force your ISP to retrieve a new copy (although it might still ignore this as it would already be ignoring the headers chess tempo is sending telling proxies not to cache those types of pages).  If it turns about to be your ISP's proxy I might also be able to try some tricks to force it to reload that content (by putting some random strings into the request url).

If you see the same problem from a different ISP then the proxy is unlikely to be the issue and I'll have to think harder about what is going wrong.

Regards,
Richard.

Hi Richard,

I think that it can be different problem. I logged on one comp during my visit in Norway, one in work and one in my home. Connections were from various ISP.

Ok thanks palemon, I'll have to look harder :-)

what do you see if you go to the following url:
http://chesstempo.com/chess-statistics/palemon

Does that also show older history for you or are the most recent entries from June 17th?

Richard.

This is magic  Smiley From this link everything is OK (almost-2676 jump in blitz on the graph). After changing to another option from menu and come back to stats I see previous situation.

Hi Palemon,

I think I've tracked down the source of the problem, part of the index for the problem attempts table appears to have got corrupted (the data was fine, but the corrupted index meant some things were not returned as expected, depending on how you asked for them).  I've rebuilt the index and it looks like things are working more predictably now.  Please let me know if things look better from your point of view now.

Regards,
Richard.

I think now it works OK. Statistics look correct and after one attempt table was updated. Thanks.
