Based on what I've read in the forum, Richard, you are working on many improvements. It might be useful to the people making suggestions if you write down what you are working on currently, your to-do list, and rejected suggestions (with links to the topics). This could be a sticky topic and locked so that only you can write in it. You could update it as things change. It would be a little work in the beginning, but it might save some time in the long run.

Thanks for this excellent site. I hope you get plenty of financial support to encourage you.  Smiley

Hi newlook,

I have such a list at the moment (including links to relevant forum posts), however at the moment I'm not that keen to expose it to world right now.  There are two main reasons:
1) Sometimes I start on an idea but after playing around with it I decide that it is either not feasible in a reasonable amount of time or that the idea was not as effective as I'd thought. I also often juggle priorities reasonably often so the most important items can shuffle around depending on user input and new issues that arise. I don't really want to expose this chaotic flux to the outside world :-)
2) Chesstempo has competitors with a lot more available resources than I do, so I'd rather not signal too much detail about what I'm planning to do next as it would be easy for a well resourced competitor to implement some of the ideas before I get a chance to commit time to them.

I agree that it would be nice to expose a todo list (there is currently about 250 items on the list :-) [with another 250 items on the "done" list]), but mostly for reason 2) it is not something I feel I can do right now.

Regards,
Richard.
