Probably not this year, but I'd like to have tournaments some time next year. I've hesitated adding them up till now, as I didn't think we had enough players online, but I think we are approaching a point where can have tournaments without increasing wait times for non-tournament players too much.  What format tournaments would you like to see when we do start implementation?

960 probably isn't going to happen soon. The main issue is that while a few people request it, the reality is that on the servers that do provide it, it isn't super popular, so until we've got a good deal of other work off the todo list, it isn't likely to be high enough priority to be looked at in the short or even medium term.

I like bullet format and team is more interesting for me.

I mentioned chess960 because as far as I know there is less chance of cheating.

By format, I meant more about the style of the tournament, such as Swiss/Elimination/Warzone(on Chesscube, called Arena on other sites).

That is no longer true, with lots of strong engines being able to play 960 now, there is little difference in cheat abilities in 960 and standard chess.

Personally I prefer standard swiss and round because that's normal chess but fine with sometimes warzone too.

I'm really interested about this. May I pm you?

No problem. 960 isn't that hard to program an existing engine to play, as really only the castling rules are special cased.
Here is a rating list for 960 (called fischer random on that page):
